PRODUCT DESIGN AND FINISHING PROCESSES
All Dalby products are designed to be in the forefront of technology, to be innovative in concept, to accurately reflect the requirements of major automotive and industrial manufacturers', and to conform with the statutory requirements of the Environmental Protection Act:1990, plus its supporting technical and process guidance notes. Designs and processes are summarised below.
- High quality finishes for the automotive manufacturers'.
- Current environmental pressures has driven the development of a spray booth for use with high solids and water based coatings and to that end, Dalby has worked closely over the years with a number of paint manufacturers' during the evolution of such materials.
- The industrial market is far more diverse and requires a sound knowledge of the processes involved and in the design of plant. To interface, Dalby has consulted paint and pre-treatment chemists to supplement its engineering design base.
- The design of industrial finishing plant has benefited from the high quality finishes obtained from Dalby products designed for the automotive industry. Such plant has been used in dry filter and waterwash booths, low bake or stoving ovens for wet paint or powder application, pre-treatment plants, powder plants, shotblasting facilities to multi-million pound 'turn-key' packages including one or a number of these areas.
- Dalby designs have a great advantage over most of our competitors by providing a product that not only performs efficiently, it looks good. This fact alone may provide a commercial advantage in these days of client visits and supplier evaluation.
- Dalby designs lead the way towards the environmentally aware millennium, this is due mainly to our innovation and sound technical knowledge gained over many years in the finishing plant business.
- Dalby designs and project management skills are now recognized by major 'blue ship companies' who come to Dalby on reputation for a complete package from concept to installation and commissioning.
