Preventative Maintenance and L.E.V.
Dalby advise that regular servicing and preventative maintenance is essential for the continued high performance and reliability of spray booth equipment. Dalby recommend that most spray booths should be serviced either annually, or every 1,000 hours of operation. It is a requirement under current legislation that all spray booths be subjected to a L.E.V (Local Exhaust Ventilation) test every fourteen months. This test is conducted to check the overall condition of the booth cabin, doors and air handling plant to check that it is still able perform to it's original design specification.
In order to comply with the current legislation and guarantee the performance levels for spray booth/ovens Dalby complete a full L.E.V. inspection test on all equipment serviced by our engineers. This testing procedure is provided as part of our normal service package and is not an added extra. We then provide customers with official certification for all equipment passing the L.E.V test. Further advise is offered to customers where equipment fails the L.E.V testing to enable equipment to be repaired or upgraded to obtain official certification.
